A Community Note
A Community Note is a short correction on a stored record, with a source. It is not a comment thread, and it is not a vote. Guests can read a note that is already public. Writing one, or rating one, uses the same door as the rest of the site. While verification is closed, that door opens the waitlist and stores nothing.
